This will be a shorter post from me than usual, but when I saw the prompt for today, this immediately sprung to mind. Kevin DuBrow, the late lead singer of the metal group Quiet Riot, said something during the group’s “Behind the Music” episode that has stuck with me ever since I first heard it, which is going on 15 + years now.
“If you can’t do it right, do it anyway.”
A credo that deserves to be stitched onto a pillow if ever there was one. I think all of us, at one time or another in our lives, have or eventually will follow that to a T. We’re all guilty of doing something we want to do completely irrespective of whether or not we actually know how to do it, and you know? Sometimes it’s more fun that way.
