I’ve mentioned on my blog before that I’m a gigantic chocoholic. I love chocolate, dark chocolate specifically. Now, since it’s not a good idea to cram chocolate down your gullet all the time, I ration it out so that I can still enjoy it without going overboard. For example, I have a Starbucks once every two weeks. I have a couple of chocolate donuts for breakfast once a week. I’m the kind of person who, if you let them, would eat an entire bag of dark chocolate peanut M&Ms in one sitting, so I have to force myself to moderate my snacking. That doesn’t mean only sweet things, but also salty treats as well. I can’t just have four potato chips and put the bag away. It makes dieting difficult because I have no will power, and I’m forced to manufacture it out of thin air.
What are your favorite treats? Can you eat them whenever you want with no issues, or do you have to force yourself to eat them only at certain times?
