Today’s Word of the Day is homage which means, “respect or tribute.” Now, do you pronounce it “OH-mahj” or “HAH-mij”? I think either is acceptable, but I’ll await an official ruling on that. I’ve never paid homage to anyone, at least not that I can think of. I’ve never met a member of any royal family, though if I did, I’d curtsy just to avoid looking like the ugly American who doesn’t know how to act.
